Talks on Reorganization Of our Soccer League

Dear Vacaville Membership:

We hope this letter finds you and your families well and healthy. Over the past few months, we have been forced to adapt to a “new norm”, due to Covid-19. With this continued shut down and no real clarity on when we will return to local competition, members of each Board of Directors (VYSL & VUSC) have taken the time to discuss the future of Vacaville soccer and how we can best serve our community going forward. A constant theme that was brought up in one of our many discussions was the opportunity to realign as one unified organization which has a Recreational branch and Competitive branch – both having the full support of the Board with long term plans to enrich both programs. In addition, we’d like to begin enhancing our public communications and garner more support around our club-wide operations. It’s important for you to be informed on club-related news and we are very excited about moving forward collectively under this new direction. We will continue to communicate as move through this process of internal reconstruction and hope to build momentum so when we do return, we have a clear direction of where we are going as an organization.
