Vacaville Youth Soccer League

The Thunderbirds placed second at the Hot August Blast-Off Tournament hosted by the Eureka Soccer Club.

 

The Thunderbirds shut their opponents out winning their first game 5-0, second game 4-0, and third game 6-0. Their only loss was in the championship game against Eureka Express, 1-0.  The girls played excellent over the weekend scoring a total of 15 times and were only scored on once.  

 

Coach Del Rio was quoted saying, ".....2nd place is a great accomplishment for this team and I am excited for what is to come with these girls".
